Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services offered under the Fionetix Solutions brand and billed by Global Automation Services Ltd (UK). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Subscriptions: pause or cancel anytime
Our subscription plans are flexible. You can pause your plan when you have no active work and resume it later, or cancel at any time. There is no long-term lock-in.
2. Pro-rata refunds on cancellation
If you cancel a monthly subscription part-way through a billing period, we will refund the unused portion of that period on a pro-rata basis, calculated from the date we receive your cancellation request. Work already delivered, and any active request in progress at the time of cancellation, are not refundable.
To request cancellation, email hello@fionetix.com. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.
3. EU & UK consumer cooling-off rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a new contract within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Please note: if you ask us to begin work during this 14-day period, you acknowledge that (a) where the service is fully performed within the period, you lose the right to withdraw, and (b) where you withdraw after work has begun, you must pay for the services provided up to the point of withdrawal, on a proportionate basis. These statutory rights are not affected by anything else in this policy.
4. One-time & custom work
For custom or enterprise engagements quoted separately, refund terms are set out in the relevant order or statement of work. Bespoke work that has already been produced to your specification is generally non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights.
5. Third-party costs
Pass-through costs paid to third parties on your behalf (e.g. hosting, infrastructure, domains, or software licences) are non-refundable once incurred.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly — this is almost always faster than a chargeback.
